VCF Academy attend ECA Congress in Belgium

The VCF Academy has participated in the ECA (European Club Association) congress in Brussels this week.

The Director General of the VCF Academy, Sean Bai, shared the working sessions with representatives of some of the best academies in Europe, attending the various presentations and exchanges of opinions on youth football at RSC Anderlecht's facilities.

The meeting was also attended by the Belgium national team coach, Roberto Martínez, who presented his vision of the best way to develop talent in young players.

The VCF Academy has once again been named amongst the best football academies in Europe, in the latest annual report by the CIES Football Observatory on players trained at each club who currently compete in one of the 5 major leagues in the continent (Spain, England, Germany, Italy and France).  For the third year running, the VCF Academy is amongst the Top 10.

In addition to quality in football training, the VCF Academy takes care in detail of the human development of  players as shown by the motto: "We educate people, we train footballers", paying special attention to academic education, studies and  the development of the values that make up the VCF DNA.

The VCF Academy is the sixth best academy in Europe

The VCF Academy has once again been named amongst the best football academies in Europe, in the latest annual report by the CIES Football Observatory on players trained at each club who currently compete in one of the 5 major leagues in the continent (Spain, England, Germany, Italy and France). For the third year running, the VCF Academy is amongst the Top 10.

The Academy players take part in various different social actions within the #AcademiaEnComunidad programme to get to know other realities beyond football and be aware of the social responsibility they have as players and Valencia CF as a club.  

The #AcademiaEnComunidad programme was recently shortlisted amongst the ECA Youth Football Award 2021 finalists.
